Berea, OH (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Browns announced on Monday that kicker Phil Dawson signed his tender as the club's franchise player. Dawson is entering his 14th NFL season and last year connected on 24-of-29 field goal tries, while making all 20 PATs to lead the Browns with 92 points. He has been with the Browns since 1999 and is the franchise leader in field goals made (276), while his 1,115 career points rank second (Lou Groza, 1,349) in team annals.

Pool, 27, played his first five years of his career with the Cleveland Browns before joining the New York Jets as a free agent in 2010.
